Legalizing vs Ban
1. The definition of killing is very wide. If we just narrow our mind to look at it literally and we straight jump to a conclusion that is it a murder just because we takes lives. Then about those chicken that we eat ? Those vegetable that we are ? Are they not living things ? Are they also not the creation and gift from god ? Is still killing but just that different segment and categories of killing
Would also like to take Anthony regarding his further elaboration about killing in terms of science. He claim that fetus in women was formed after sperm been ejaculated into vagina and merged with egg, and so called “baby”. But before merging, there’s millions or billion of sperm dying everyday in man’s body, which only one or few are successfully to form fetus with egg in a man’s life span.
In science experiment, if i take an egg from women and sperm from a man, merge them in a test tube, and do an experiment of “test tube baby” in lab, after success merging and fetus (baby) is formed, in the end of experiment, i throw it into rubbish bin, does that made me a killer?
Next, before the stage of fetus forming, egg and sperm were started separately, i thrown the test tube filled with sperm into rubbish bin, which there’s 1 in million chances that 1 sperm has possibility to become fetus (baby), does that made me a killer?
So since the elaboration of killing had widen here then we should divide it into killing it directly or killing it indirectly which in another term killing it softly ?
If given a choice and a chance and if the situation is workable who will ever consider of abortion ? There must be reasons for such thoughts. So there this is where the term killing it directly and killing it indirectly should came into consideration.
When we kill it off directly for once and for all. Yes is also killing but at the same time if we do not kill it and knowing the facts that maybe the child is a rap product that will haunt us for life ? Or our own personal limitation for not providing the child with basic necessity or maybe due to the child own personal health prediction by doctor in advance.
In such situation , somehow or rather the baby will be still killed but kill in different ways. Think again. Which is actually more cruel ? Ending it for once and for all or bringing them to this world of hell and darkness ?
Just put yourself in the situation. What if we are born as a rap product ? What if we are born without proper education ? What our future will be? What if we are born with so much of limitation ? What if we are born that we do not even know who is the one bringing us to this world ? What if we are born to suffer with bad health condition ? Do we ever want to go through such life ? What if we are born to be hated and not to be love?
Are we killing them softly and indirectly in another way ? Which is actually more cruel to them ?
In this case there is nobody that is right. Both is also wrong. Wrong in different ways. So we can only be enlighten to compare which is more wrong ? Which is more suffering and cruel ?
We may be killing their future. We may be killing their upbringing. We may be killing their life.
We still kill. Just that is different ways.
2. Moral
The definition of morality needed to have a wider scope about it. Here a few scenario I would like to share with all of you. What if we ever encounter a situation where a wrong action in terms of moral but at the same time goes along with the right intention to in terms of morality ?
Scolding and canning is a wrong action in terms of morality. But if the intention of the parents or teachers is to educate the student . Then where do morality stands now? Is it the action that counts or the intention that matter ?
The action of abortion is morally wrong but what if the intention is pure and good?
3. Religion
All religion is against pre marital sex. Sex before marriage. So if religion factor is the factor deciding what is right or what is wrong here. By producing condom is also against the religion. Easily we can conclude that we actually encouraging pre marital sex. That if we look at the action of producing condom.
But if we were to look at the intention of providing condom it is to prevent pre marital sex that will be causing much trouble and problems. Then condom is now the mechanism and ways to solve much more major complication issue than the reason for encouraging sex.
So if everything we narrow down our views then condom should be ban as well. But if we look at another wider dimension things may be different.
Therefore abortion can be look as another way or mechanism not to made things worst. Sharing almost the same philosophy like condom.
As far as religion is against abortion. Religion is also against for not being responsible for their own fresh and blood. For not pouring the love to the children. For not being a good parents.
If earlier religion already against pre marital sex and there is still pre marital sex. That is also already a sin. Then why not only attacking on focusing on abortion as just the only sin ? If it already happen what else we can be do ?
4. Selfish
By having an abortion the mother is being label as selfish but again the karma and sin only goes to the mother. It will never ever goes to the children. But if bringing them to this world without proper care and guidance which lead them to more sin then we are even more selfish ?
We do not sin for bringing them to this world but letting them doing crime and sin which is morally not right here.
As much as god do not want us to kill but at the same time god wanted us so much to love ourselves . If giving happiness to 1 needed to sacrifice the happiness of many then are we not selfish to those who are many ?
5. Right
As much as everybody got their right to live. They do also have the rights to be love. Have the rights for shelter and protection. Have the rights for being happy in this world. Have their rights to know who is their parents. Have their rights to have basic necessity in this world.
If we cannot even fulfill this basic rights when we want to bring them to this world then why should rights issue should be a reason for abortion ?
Again. What about the mother rights to choose her own path and decision in life?
We never force her to have an abortion. As much as we can against her wish but if she chosen to do so then that is also her right.
6. Regret
There is always a saying is better to regret now than later. If things already happen then it already happen. We can no longer prevent or avoid it. We need to face the facts and reality that is in front of us. Regret now for certain period of time than later regretting when we bring a person that we do not want to bring to this world. We bring them to this world with force. Will be regretting for our entire life ?
We can no longer kill them when we start to realize we actually regret doing so. But we can still have another baby when we really ready that time.
7. Encouraging Pre Marital Sex
Our country had never legalized abortion. But pre marital sex still happened. If that is so then abortion is no longer the cause for pre marital sex. It is actually affected by many other factor over here.
Abortion is just a mechanism or options of action after the action of pre marital sex.
Here again would like to share another version of analogy with all of you. What about legalizing prostitution ?
Many claims it actually encouraging AIDS. But statistic and facts had proven in black and white in those country that had legalize it the rate for AIDS is much lower than those who ban it.
If many claims that giving them to the orphanage house. Giving them to relative. Are they not encouraging pre marital sex as well ? Maybe even worst. We can have sex. We do not need to kill. What we need to do is just get rid of the baby.
8. Mother health and danger
Because of mother health and danger then that should be the best reason why abortion should be legalize.
Because as far as we can ban whatever want to ban we will still limitation in power to prevent things that we ban to ever happen. If Law is really that effective then there will be no illegal drugs in our country even this is among the major crime.
Our government was trying so hard to fight against it. And there are heavy law punishment about it yet there are still many drugs our there.
So if we do not legalize abortion. Then there will be still many illegal abortion out there. Wont those illegal doctor and clinic will bring more harm and risk to the mother ? And since it is illegal there is no law or action that a mother can take against the illegal institution or doctor.
Then as far as not many people know where to get illegal drugs even if they ever wanted it because not easily we can get it and is not being sell everywhere.
Then that same goes to illegal abortion health institution. So where a mother have already decided not to have the baby but do not know where to abort it then there where everyday we read in newspaper that how many just born babies is being throw in the rubbish bin or drain.
Help. If you are the baby when your mother is finally firm with the decision not to have you then you would prefer that you abort you when you are not yet complete form yet or after 9 months later throw you in the dustbin bin and die ? Both of will die but die by experience the different types of process of dieying. You would rather die that directly or die indirectly and suffer for a much longer period before you die ?
Yes or No ?
There will be no yes or no over here because there is yes in different case and there is no in different case.
If you are looking for morality , religion and rights here then easily we can justify it is no. Because there is nothing to say yes about it. But will the problem be in control ? Solve ? Or decrease ? No. It will still be the same because the truth is we already ban abortion.
If only you are looking for a solution than morality , religion , rights or whatever you name it then the answer is YES for abortion.
Why ?
1. Only when we legalize abortion we can prevent illegal abortion that will cause more damage than good.
2. Only when we legalize abortion there will be many people who dare to come forward. And if lives that is matter then only problems can be solve here. Only when people willing to come forward then only we have the chance to see where we can help out. The truth is by legalizing abortion do not mean that we will straight fulfill the person desire that come forward for an abortion. Only when we legalize it we can structure a well plan mechanism to overcome this problem. Those mechanism will include we should try best to solve the patient problems first.
Depending on their reason. If their reason is because on personal limitation then we will offer them option. What if we will send your baby to the orphanage home? What if we get the media to have some fund raising for you ? What if we can help you to apply some fund from some organization or government ?
But if they were to ever come forward with a good intention. Doctor claim and scan that my baby will never live long. The sickness can never be cure. I do not want my baby to suffer. I rather to sin than bringing him to this world to suffer and die . Eventually he will die also.
Or a situation where a rape victim got rape or a prostitute who don’t even know who is the children father. We will still offer them some counseling session. Try best to prevent them for having an abortion.
Only if all mechanism fails then we will abort the baby. And since it is legalize we will be having better training , education , knowledge , experience and technology to ensure the mother is safe.
And if anything went wrong it is also fair to the mother that they can always bring us to court when it is legalize.
3. If ever there is such incident as rape or illegal prostitution that lead to abortion only when we legalize it they will come forward. Only then police can take action against the raper. Many who got rape feel shy to lodge a police report. They just quietly went for illegal abortion. So we are also in another way preventing and taking action against different kind of crime
4. We can also prevent or decreases the probability of pre marital sex. Reason? If those caught below age action will be taken against them. Or at least if not law punishment in nature but a soft approach of counseling session can be done . Only when we do legalize abortion then the illegal one will hardly exist or even if they do they either hardly survive or action can easily taken against them for doing it illegally. When we legalize abortion do not mean that everybody can do that. Only those institution that follow the criteria and requirement will be given the license.
Conclusion.
Please do understand the structural phase of this problem and issue then we will be enlighten to have a clear views.
Most people misunderstand and misinterpret or can come out with hundreds of reason against abortion is because they always look at it as the 1st phase.
For them they look at :
1 Legalizing Abortion
2 Encourage Pre Marital Sex
3 Pregnant
4 Killing
That is when they misunderstand this structure they look at the end effect which is killing.
But in reality that is not the structure. The truth is :

If in this phase structure then legalizing abortion is an act of mechanism to control. Sins had already happen. Moral values and religion views had already being broken. Is about how to ways to deal with what had happen. It no longer a question of what causes it.
Before I end. Never get me wrong. Is not about me supporting what that is against the religion or moral values. Is about the nature and reality of lives that we are living. If given a chance nobody want this thing to happen. But since it already happen we need to find what is the best solution to solve it.
There is no perfection. There will be always dilemma in our lives.
This is never a right or wrong question in the first place because this is only about which is more wrong . Is about wrong vs wrong. No longer wrong vs right. No choice. That is what we are facing. We can only choose the less wrong in general.
Just like we always being ask a question. If both of your parents fall into the ocean and you got the ability to save 1 who will you save ?
Sometimes we choose not to answer because there is no answer for it. But in this case we still need to pick an answer.
Sometimes we choose to say BOTH ! but that is because it is a question therefore you can easily answer any types of answer that you wanted even when we say only chose 1. But in this case it never open an opportunity for a win win situation.
Sometimes when we face the reality we will say either mother or father but giving who deserve more to be help and no matter what your reason are there is still 1 person that u need to sacrifice but for sure you had already calculated which is the one you wanted to save most although you hope u can save both.
We had ban it for more than 50 years. And the situation is getting worst. We did not even dare to try a new way to overcome it ? Why not legalize it and give it a chance to test it effectiveness ? After all we if after implementing it and still fail then only ban it again why not ? Since we already fail. If we don’t legalize it then 100% we fail. When we legalize it no doubt we may fail but the probability is 50% 50 %.
Is just like when we love a person we dare not confess to them 100% we wont get them. But if we do we still stand 50% of the chances
Again many of us just focus on the baby that is not yet even born. How many of us do calculate the emotions , trauma , feelings and everything that related the mother that is already suffering enough of this thing ?
When we do calculation we must not only calculate what is best for the baby only. It also should include what is best for the mother. Mother also a lives. A human being. A gift of good. A living beings.
